Canon 5d3 blurred images

It is possible that it is my imagination / errors, but I've noticed some unexplainable blurred shots using my 5d3

I first noticed it a few weeks ago on a shoot, and put it down to heavy rain. On the next shoot, I didn't have any problems, but today It happened again.

I use auto ISO with a max shutter speed of 1/125th. Now maybe it could just be that I should set it to 1/250th min, but with the limited testing I have done, I can achieve crisp images at 1/125th (shooting non moving portraits).

I will do more testing tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything similar?

I wouldn't panic. Just because you can take a sharp shot at 1/125 doesn't mean you always will. Depending on focal length it is entirely possible it's just a bit of shake?
 
i think that shutter speed is pushing it - i'm not sure if the AF sensor is aligned to the ISO setting on the camera, but i've always found (on the 5D2 also) that when the camera is using a slower shutter speed (even if light is fairly decent) due to low ISO the AF would sometimes be a bit iffy.

What lens are you using?

Is there any subject movement in the shots you have issues with?

Maybe post a sample up so folk can possibly understand what caused it. Even at 1/125th technique can play a role - how are you holding the camera?
 
The only way anyone can really help is if you post a blurred picture complete wiht exif in place.. much easier to assess what is going on. otherwise everyone is juts guessing what might be wrong.

Agree with the above. If you're shooting with a long lens without IS then 1/125 is maybe too slow. Without knowing the subject and lens it's all guess work.
 
Various lenses. Main lens 70-200 2.8L IS mkii

I've since increased min ss to 1/250th. Definitely makes an improvement, but I still see the odd shot where nothing seems crisp.

When I get 5 mins, I'll dig out an image.
