Canon 5DMK3 discolouration?

Hi I was out the other day with my Canon 5DMK3 and had it round my shoulder. I then noticed that it had been rubbing against a small zip on my trousers and as such had rubbed off some of the black on the casing. Having read and searched out some forums this seems to be a growing moan with users of this camera. Surely it should be more resiliant than this. Anyone any ideas how I could make it look tidier.

Someone posted about gun touch up paint on eBay last year but can't find the post so far.

What about black Magic Marker?

Just ignore it you'll only be covering up more spots next week! Besides beat up cameras look pro lol

I'm definitely with the just ignore it, in fact it wouldn't have registered in my mind as something that needed attention.
It's never going to affect how the camera operates. If you use your camera it will eventually pick up signs of use.
Remember it's a tool not an ornament for people to drool over.
