Hi Everyone :)
Any recommendations for a decent replacement zoom lens for the standard 18-55 mm that came with my camera ? Ideally something that is better in low light conditions, I don't want to spend too much cash ( around £200-£250).

I already own the Canon 50 mm f/1.8 II Lens and the Canon 55-250 f4-5.6 which are great :)

Hi I splashed out on a 24-105L and 17-40L both lenses are fantastic on my 5d mark111 no probs with either not sure if you wanna go down the L lens route if you need something in low light you could try a 50mm 1.8/1.4

You're probably looking at the Tamron 18-55mm f2.8 in that case.

There are umpteen arguments about whether or not the VC/Non-VC edition is better.

EDIT: Sorry, as below, I think it's actually 17-50mm. Whoops.

For your budget, I'd probably recommend the Tamron 17-50 F2.8 lens...

Both a fair way out of his price range and the 24-105L isn't really a great choice for crop sensor cameras IMO. You might be able to pick up a 15-85mm canon for slightly over your budget (seen them for £320 or so 2nd hand) which is a better lens but won't have massively improved low light. Generally I'm not much of a fan of Tamron lenses but for your budget the 17-50 is pretty reasonable.
