They used to be very popular a few years ago,when a lot of people would just carry a camera around with one lens,but as people starting adding more lens and bit & bobs,photographers would carry their stuff around in bags,why have a case,plus as zooms became more popluar the front case would not fit.

Half cases are making a bit of a comeback.

I try to keep my setup nice and elegant without using lots of lenses and extras. I try to get MY balance between quality and accessibility.

I use an 18-250mm tamron "walkaround lens" with a B+W UV Protection Filter as well as a 50mm f1.8 Canon for evening or more artistic shots.

Not really interested in changing lenses a lot for different shots as its too much effort.

So with all your knowledge do you happen to know of any more cases like this or better ? These are the only ones I could find!
 
Used to have one on my old film Canon SLR - also had the other half to completely cover the camera when not in use.

Not really thought about one for the new DSLR ...
 
Think I'll try and get a half case and matching strap then! :)
Couldnt only find that one choice though (in 2 colours).
Anyone know of any other available to buy?
