hi all.
i was thinking of buying a 60D.
just wondering if the new 63 point metering system is as good as it sounds?
thanks

Same as the 7D.... Pretty happy with it so far... Takes some getting used to....

hi martin,
thanks for the reply. so will it be more accurate? was hoping that i would not need to compensate for under and over exposure as much as my current 450d.

It depends what your shooting...

if you have high contrast subjects with sky and land etc.. you will still be doing it..

It is tuned to favour where you focus so will need to compensate depending where you focus...

I find it very accurate, I'm strictly a learning amateur and I do ok with it.. check out my flickr for some examples...

Sorry to jump in and answer as you have asked mipevo6 directly. His flickr pics are linked in blue in his signature. Signatures only appear the first time a person posts in a thread, I think.
