Canon 60D timer mode

Am I having a blonde moment ,does the Canon 60D have a timer mode where you can set the time from 1-30 seconds for long exposures like the 600d if so where is it in the menu as I can not see it.

Yes. Tv on the jog wheel. Sets your shutter speed.

Sorry it's the timer setting I was referring to as I can only see 2 second and a 10 second setting

I know the shutter can be set to say 0.25/1/10/15/20/30 and BULB .

I'm lost? The 2 seconds and 10 seconds is the delay for the shutter release giving you time to get in the shot or whatever, for long exposures, as welshnoob says, you can have any time up to 30 seconds then bulb using Tv.

That's it the shutter release can that only be set to 2 and 10 seconds or is there a hidden menu somewhere so you can choose from 1 second to 10 seconds as sometimes 2 seconds is not long enough as I have to manually press the camera shutter and may be getting still a little vibration before the shutter opens but 10 seconds seams a long time 5 seconds would be perfect.

Buy a remote firing thingy only a few quid on amazon point at camera when your ready, or get a wired one there still cheap and highly programable i use one for self take fish portraits, set for 15 sec countdown and then 10 shots with 2 sec interval, but all these are changeable.
