There's a great copy of this in the buy/sell, and I'm tempted. As some of you saw in my other thread, I'm also considering a Sigma 150-500 (very unsure on this) and also a 70-200 f4 with a 1.4x tc.
I know the 2.8 70-200 is raved about, but I've a few questions.
1. How is it with TC's? Both 1.4 and 2x.
2. How fast is the focusing on the MK1? The date is 2009, so it's a very new copy.
3. What would a good price be to pay for a 2nd hand one, I was thinking around 920 posted for a great condition, 2009 model, that sound about right to you?
4. These things hold their value well yes? If I'm not happy, selling it in a couple months will be realistic without losing much. (if I pay 920). My 100-400 held its value fine over the 8 months I had it though, so hopefully my concerns are unfounded.
