By the looks of things the B (W) ring is suitable for the f2.8 non IS and the f2.8 IS MkI and MkII. The original rings are usually upwards of £100 but you can get the 3rd party ones quite a bit cheaper here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/High-Qual...Canon-70-200mm-f-2-8L-IS-II-USM-/110843145678 From what I've read of these mount rings they seem to do the job really well, but it's up to you whether you risk a non original ring or not.
I have the original Canon one on my 70-200 f2.8L IS and my son has one of the "others" on his 70-200 f4L and looking at both of them there isn't a lot of difference at all as the quality of the cheaper one appears that good. It's also a spot on colour match as well.
