Just had my first canon lens go down.

Not sure what has happened but it won't fix onto the body. Been using 4 of them really heavily for the past 4 years. This is the first problem I've had.

Looks like a trip to Canon for it. Was working fine until I took it off the body to fit an extender. Maybe its taken a knock and I haven't noticed.
 
Any pictures of the bit that attaches to the body? I can post some of mine too so we can compare! Does other lenses fit OK?
 
Other lenses are fine. Tried a couple.


Ive had a comparison with another 70-200 and nothing seems to look wrong, but only needs to be out by a micro and it won't fit.

Wouldn;t mind so much, but I dropped the Sigma 120-300 last week and bust that as well.

It never rains but it pours.......
