Canon 70-200f4 v 24-105 AF speed

Hi

Has anyone had experience or have knowledge on which lens has the superior auto focus speed. I will have a choice to use either next week on a sports shoot. The players will be running towards me, about 10m distant.

I've got both, I would go with the 70-200 as you'll more than likely find the extra reach useful.

TBH I don't find the AF any quicker or slower on either lens.

Tried both and they both focused well on my Canon. The reach of the 70-200 is a big plus
