Canon 70-200MkII Problem

Hello guys,

More of a post for information rather than "What do i do", but my canon 70-200 has developed a focussing problem!

On NYE i was taking some photos of a show.. when my lens stopped focussing beyond the 7 Metre mark on the barrel...

Over the night it seemed to free up, but it still hesitates at times to focus past 7-10 Metres...

I have got in touch with Digital Depot, who i bought it from, and i know that they will do everything they can to help!

Just wondered if anyone else out there had the same or similar problems??

Just an update, went back to digital depot today, the guys are sending it to Canon at Elstree for me!

I'll update you all when i know!

Well I got the lens back today, all fixed! Canon have replaced the "Focus Unit" and all is good!

phew, good to hear its all fixed, thats one expensive lens !

Yeah from me dropping it off to me picking it up was 6 days... Cant complain at that!
