Hello,

Above lens arrived Today, to add to my 7D.

Just wondering if anybody has one and what are their thoughts on it.

Wouldn't it be normal to ask for peoples opinions of a lens before buying it? :thinking:

Anyway you're probably one of the few people with one so how about your thoughts?

If good I'll definitely be ditching my 70-300 IS for one.

Hello Tina,

As the temp up here has been down to -10 have not had much chance to tinker.What I can tell you is that it is Built like a Tank and so Quite heavy.

When I have some Pics and Time I will put them Up.

Oh by the way I would ditch the 70-300IS I had one believe me No Contest.

Given the price difference between the two lenses, I would be astonished if the 70-300 IS could compete with the 70-300 L. I'll be buying my 70-300 L next March.
