I'm looking to buy either the 70D or 700D for the sole purpose of shooting HD video. I only shoot talking heads in a well-lit studio.
I understand that the 70D has better AF, but I won't be shooting outdoors and the camera will always be stationary on a tripod. So I'm not sure if I will even benefit from the improved AF system.
Are there any other benefits of the 70D over the 700D that justify the larger price tag? Or will the 700D be adequate for my purpose?
I would also like to ask... I own a Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5-6 L IS USM lens which I use for shooting stills and it's great. Would this lens be suitable for shooting video with either the 70D or 700D, or would I need a different lens?
