Canon 7D & Grip

Anyone know is the Canon Grip for the 7D is Alloy or plastic?

Just wondering before I order one.

Do you want it to be plastic or metal? And what difference with it make?

I was only wondering if it would match the body of the 7D as it is Mag Alloy. And if it has any inpact on the weather seal.

I expect it to be metal alloy like the 5Dii, it is a Pro spec camera...they are not going to pair it with a plastic grip.

I'd agree with that -I'd expect it to match the weather sealing of the body.
