canon 7d - help

Slimbert has lent me a 7d and 70-200f 2.8 and a 10-20mm.... as he thinks I need a proper camera.......

I have twiddled dials and allsorts but how the bloody hell do I change the ISO settings?

Button marked ISO on the top and then use the front control wheel.

Think it's stuck in a menu somewhere. It's a bloody awful UI. Think you have to use the quick settings thing but you have to press another button with 6 seconds or it goes back into another mode!

I'm surprised there isn't a button on the body to do it. It might be hidden round the back.

Surprised you missed a button on the top!! Think you need to go to specsavers

yep i do need to go to specsavers......... I genuinely did have 10 mins sitting looking at it, and then the better half came in and said "What happens if you press the ISO button on the top? "

D'oh!!!

The IS thing is odd though,

7D tip - once you have twiddled all the settings, navigate to factory reset and press yes. It will then start working again. Guess how I know.

I find the simplest way is to press the Q button and use the joystick to navigate to what you want to change. I wish the 1D had one.
