Canon 7D opinions please

It has been out for a while, I do not see any recent threads on this...

Would like to hear from 7D owners who have had it for a while...what do you like, hate, enjoy about it...from minor issues to whatever...oh, and what type of photography you use it for, lens combos etc...

Only got one camera so use it for anything and everything, very pleased with mine and not come across anything I could mention that would put a prospective buyer off

A tilting screen and auto iso where you can set a maximum value would be nice, but hardly a big deal when weighed against all the plusses

i do a lot of bird photography and the 7d is perfect i even pick it over my 1dmk3 as it shows so much detail and gives can crop more with 18 mps .

Cannot fault my 7D. I've had it for about two years now and I have finally started to make use of all the potential of this camera. Sure for those who want to put it onto auto and snap away it works very well BUT when you start to use the multitude of different settings open to you then you rally start to see the quality this camera can produce.

This and movie capability makes it an excellent buy in my opinion.

Two thoughts though. You must fully consider the cropped sensor when buying lenses and no matter what camera you buy your pictures will only be as good as the lenses allow.

+1 to pretty much all of this.
 
Still loving my 7d, my 5d mark II has slightly better image quality, but the 7d is more solidly built, AF is better for moving subjects and its a great all rounder :)
