Canon 80-200 f2.8 L

Magik Drainpipe... anyone still using this lens as I have a chance of getting a good one for an outstanding price (can't afford the new one)... Thoughts appreciated....

Cracking lens, watch for sloppy zoom and rubber grip coating coming loose.

Otherwise, very sharp and suprisingly fast focus.

It's a very enduring and solid lens....probably close to the 70-200/2.8L in many repsects. Just be aware that it won't take Canon teleconverters.

There aren't enough spaces on the line but I figured evryone would know which one it was.....it actually sounds a little nicer too!

I thought it might have been a 200mm IS, surprised it does not figure in your armoury........
