After buying cameras, and spare batteries over a period of years, I now have 9 Canon type batteries.
Last week I was caught out when a battery went low - ( I had a spare ).
I decided to try to 'calibrate' them, so that I would just use the 'good' ones.
I numbered each one, then discharged them slowly - I got them to power a xenon flasher, which took a few hours.
Then I noted the recharge time. 2 took 45 mins to recharge, which I suspect are the batteries on the way out.
The others took about 1hr 30 mins, which I think is a good time. The proof of the pudding etc..... will show when I next take them out for a session.
Do the electronics experts amongst you think my results are valid?
