Hello Forum!
While helping my mum moving home I found my late dad's Canonet 28 which I thought was lost (couldn't find it recently and had not seen it for more than 20 years). My dad bought it in the 70's and was a constant presence during all our travels and day-trips since before I was born and for more than 20 years. The mechanisms seem to still work (perhaps the shutter does not move perfectly but it's not stuck in place) and the battery luckily didn't leak. However, the film compartment seal is in bad shape and there is some kind of mould or something else that has made the viewfinder opaque (see picture).
Do you know of any specialised repairer (Gloucestershire or Bristol area) that could try and restore it to working conditions? If not possible or horribly expensive I will still keep it as a "heirloom", but it would be great if I could get to use it again.
Thank you!
