I've got an old 300EZ flash and only barely integrates with the digital - it's safe to use, voltage is low enough, but flash is full strength in any of the camera modes (P A S M) - it does pick up the lens setting 35mm-50mm-70mm etc but that's about it. Presumably the higher up flash models which have their own level controls would be useable by setting flash output on the flash rather than in the camera?
It certainly doesn't seem to make any effort in terms of auto metering, if the number of blown out shot's i've had is anything to go by
dagnammit, cheers peeps, sounds like id be better off dipping deeper into the money jar, not too keen on adding complications to my limited togging abilities.
