New paid for pro services for cps members.. I ahve enquired about the extended warranty.. 2 yrs extra for £170
 
75 quid to AF camera and lens or £54 just for body.. £34 for sensor clean and check (£20 for a 7d)
 
I got the email earlier today Tony, What do you think about the pricing structure?
 
I got the e-mail today.

Sending my 1D mkiv & my 600mm f4 for the full works.

not impressed with the quick turn round pricing.. dont need it..

the prices for other stuff.. not too bad until you factor in the price to post.. then its a bit expensive...if the calibration /AF camera and lens was a while you wait service.. i would like that..

the warranty sounds good though.. i have fired an email to canon as it instructs.. i ahve asked if the price for 2 yr warranty blah blah and does it cover shutter replacement should mine fail.. no matter what the actuation count is... that was earlier this aft when i got the email...nothing since

I once had them issue UPS collection for free, but this hasn't happened since. Maybe if you talk to the right person you could get it?

Similarly, I would think that 5DIII + 24-70mm might be cheaper to drive from from Bristol (not that it needs at the moment).

I got it once.. but was on too short a time frame today.. the camera had to go this morning... only week i can do without it.. couldnt wait to sort postage or I would have.. its not like i can afford 28 quid for postage.. needs must eh .. aaaaargh :)
 
i think they are clamping down on warranty repairs, i had to jump through a few hoops to get some things repaired last week.
