I'd have liked to have gone to that but it seems that I don't qualify for CPS membership as, despite buying and using high-spec Canon SLRs since 1980, I only own 1 DSLR body, and I'm 1 qualifying lens short at the moment too. :( I use an EOS-3 35mm film SLR (which I bought new) as my second body, but it seems Canon only want people with digital kit in their club. It's a bit of a shame really, but I suppose that's perhaps the way customer/brand loyalty is regarded these days? Mind you, having said that, at least all the Canon EF series lenses will work with both film and digital EOS SLR bodies, so fair play to Canon for that continued product support.
