Canon EF 100 f/2.0 - something different to think about

I was considering an 85mm f/1.8 but having looked around I'm after some more info on the 100mm f/2 Canon.

Anyone got images they'd care to share and reasons why they chose that lens over the 85mm.
 
I've only just picked the 100 F/2 up. I choose it over the 85 as, I read, it's a little sharper, better colour, less CA, etc. Yes, it's more money, but a mini-135L if you will.

I'll try and get some purposeful shots on the weekend and show.
 
Picked my own up now.... Just arrived this morning, along with about 6" or rain! :D
 
I love mine, except the AF motor broke ages ago and I haven't got round to fixing it yet :-(
 
Finally got a copy of this, really pleased with it.

Havent noticed any purple fringing or focussing issues.

I'm really pleased with it!
