Hi all,

I am looking for a Canon EF 24-105mm f4 L IS USM Lens and have seen on here before a link to a web site that gives you the best current prices, but cant remember what the site was called. If anyone has a link or knows of a good price please let me know.

Kerso will do you one for £100 less than CPB, £749 I think. At least that was his price a few weeks ago. He's an independent importer well known and trusted on here. Email him on kerso1123@msn.com

Quite surprising [to me at least] that used examples are going for about another £100 less than that.

The used market has generally suffered the same fate as the new market ie prices rocketing. I was looking at a Canon 17-40 the other day and the used prices now are the same as the new price 6 months ago.

When you consider that you can get a new lens (mine had a factory date just a few weeks old) with full UK warranty, from Kerso for £799, and it has a 14 days return option, I wouldn't pay more than £600 for a used one.

Even if mint, it could have invisible damage, be a few years old, and has no warranty. All risks worth taking on good gear at the right price, but this lens seems to be selling used for £700-750.

Edit: that's a Canon 70-200L 4 IS
