Yes
I have just bought one of these off the forum and until today i had not knowing anything about them, i am going to be using it on a 5D MKIII and just wondered if anyone else has used one and if they like it.
Obviously its not expensive but neither is the Nifty and i have had some great shots with that over the years.

I borrow one from time to time, they are so cheap I should just buy one.

The lens is tiny, but works a treat on the Mk3

Yes the price is great and thanks i am looking forward to giving it a try.

The review that they did on Digital Rev TV was on a 5dmk3 too :) He seemed to like it but whether you put much stock in his opinion is another matter lol

I used the 40 f2.8 on my 5D3 at a party the other night and I got some really good photos from it. I used a Sigma 24-70 f2.8 HSM, a Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS MkII and the 40mm pancake throughout the night and I can't really see any difference in the IQ between all of them. I ended up with nearly 300 photos from the night and everybody is very pleased with the photos.

I've heard good things about the 40mm pancake lens, some saying out performing the nifty fifty - as well as a better build quality.

Does look very small on a big body :)
