Canon EF 55-200mm f/4.5-5.6 II USM - Urgent help

Hi All,

i have the opportunity for getting one of these lenses for a relatively cheap price, would this be any good with my 500d.

Need a quick answer if possible people

depends how cheap.

55-250 IS lens would be a lot better.

considering the 55-250mm is £170 new, and usually comes in at about £130 used I would expect 'cheap' for the 55-200mm to be in the region of £60-70 max.

Any more than that and it is not worth it IMO

Thats a good price for the 55-250IS model

Might be worth updating your other threads to say you've got one, I've just replyed to one of them
