Just have to say I have hooked this lens up with my 50d and it is really sweet, it can take pictures and auto-focus virtually in the dark.

Lovely bit of glass:):):):):):)

I have to concur with you on this lens.I also have it and think it's tack sharp.The guy i bought it from in B&H in New York recommended it to me over a 24-70mm f/2.8 L...;)

It will break my heart to get rid of it next year as i'm going to full frame...:(
