Canon Elstree job quote?

I ahve always used the CPS forms and sent stuff off for repairs... usually under warranty but any pay jobs set the max amount son the forms..

I know they cant give a quote if they dont know whats wrong wiht a problem yet....But I want to knwo what canon elstree will charge for 2 shutter replacments ...has anyone managed to get a quote from them and if so how?

I've either sent the equipment to elstree with the form, then they assess and send a quote back, or when I was rushed used LCE (small fee), but again had to send off equipment and wait for a quote.

Only shutter replacement I had was on a 40D about 5 years ago and that was £160 with a full service. It was when the 50D came out so made it worth getting fixed.
