canon eos 1 35mm advice

Wonder if anyone can help me ive just literally been give an old canon eos 1 35mm camera by a neibour ive but some film in it but i have no idea on how to use it. which mode is auto am i right in thinking its P its also got av,bulb,tv,m,dep modes cheers
