Quite honestly I'd love to have the camera, but the difference between 18 and 21 Mega pixels wouldn't even matter at all. Funnily enough I also came to the conclusion that perhaps some marketing personnel would be better off retired (or shot).

I have a 5D mk1 and tbh I dont even know how many Mp it has, not interested in that technobabble, I just wanted a great image. I'm looking to upgrade Iso capability whilst maintaining IQ (which doesnt necessarily mean resolving power) at some point, so pixel count is of no interest to me and I'm guessing a whole swathe of others too, hats off to Canon at long last for not jumping on the Mp race horse. To be fair I think Nikon did that a while ago too. If it means the marketing boys have to re-think their strategy then so be it.
