I have been testing my 1990's 'Gift' CANON EOS 1000Fn to see if the 'Follow-Focus' works as it says in the Instruction book camera will automatically switch to 'AL-Servo' when it detects 'movement' BUT on all my 'Test Shots' it FAILED ! I was using the included Sigma UC Zoom 7-201mm f4-5.6 at about f6.7 and outdated Kodak T400CN Chromogenic C$! film which I processed myself.
I have a Pentax MZ-5 which is also supposed to 'Follw-Focus' so I am trying that next .
These two Ladies were not moving at 40MPH but they are not sharp.
not ONE Gull is sharp but the BACKGROUND is !
