These cameras seem to be pretty damn cheap on Ebay, I was looking into doing some concert photography, and I want a new body to work with (film). I was thinking of getting a Nikon F3, but I just noticed my friend is selling his Canon EOS 3000, which has automatic focus, it's like a digital camera in the way it works but uses film, just wondering what you all think about the EOS3000 and whether or not it would be suitable for concert photography?

Sure, why not?

You might be hampered by relatively slow lenses and if you're using fast film I don't think you'll get the results that are possible with digital but the shots will certainly have a look that we don't see day to day in these digital days.

I went from film to digital and briefly revisited film before putting it away again so I can't really imagine doing what you're doing, but good luck with it :)
 
Of all the subjects you could choose, with constantly changing exposure and colour, concerts will be the most challenging with film.
