Canon EOS 400d utility

[Adow2]

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone out there can help. I've got a canon 400d which I bought second hand. I've found out there is a software update for it, but I can't upload it due to me not having the EOS utility disc which you get buying the camera new. I have emailed Canon but had no reply. Does anyone know where I could get hold of a disc?

Thanks in advance

Alan

Can't you download this from the canon site.

No, only updates. They don't supply the full software for download.
There is a registry hack you can do to allow you to Install an update as the program. I just had to do this for my 550d. It's pretty simple, just copy and paste and add it to the registry.

I'm using OS Lion on an iMac, can you do something similar?
