Canon EOS 550D microphones & lenses?

Hey guys.

I'm going to be purchasing a Canon EOS 550D this week, wanting it primarily for video recording, I'll be looking for a good microphone what can pick up sound from all around and cancels the wind noise. What would be the best choice of microphone?

Regarding the lenses, I'm looking for something how this particular video clip looks below the part is from 32 seconds to 42 seconds in the video. What is the standard lens like? can I get this ''effect''?

that 'effect' is just a fast (wide aperture), wide angle lens. Try the sigma 20mm 1.8, tokina 11-16 2.8 or similar.
