Hi all,
I've not long since bought a Canon EOS 6D, and having just taken it for the first outing where long exposures were the order of the day, I've hit a problem. I have a Sandisk 16GB Extreme 45MB/s SD card, which I low-level formatted when I first used it in the 6D. I shoot only in Raw, highest image quality.
The problem is, the Camera is taking as long to write the image to the card as it does to expose the image. So, for a 3-minute exposure, I get a black screen with 'busy' for 3 minutes after the shot has finished. I timed it. For a 30second exposure, it's the same - 30 seconds of 'busy'.
I tried a different Sandisk card which was working perfectly in a friend's camera, and it was the same problem.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
TG
