Evening all!

Ive got some Canon gear that ive acquired and as i have no clue to the value could somebody give me an indication. Given that im a sony man, i have no clue :lol:

First of all is this:

A Canon eos 650 body, mint condition

With a 50mm 1.8 af, Mint condition, no marks, scratches

The plan is to have a bit of a play with it, then possibly sell on, or swap for some minolta stuff
 
if the 50mm has a metal mount then it is worth much more than the mk11 with the plastic mount.
 
One if the mk1 50's went for £140 recently

go out and start shooting...maybe next step will be selling your sony kit and getting more canon :D

Stop putting costly ideas in my head :lol:

As you can probably tell i dont know much about canon. What do you think would be a good jump from the a200?

Id toy with the idea in the future, but im happy with what i have at the moment (i think my mrs just took over my thinking then hahaha)

film is not expensive and you can develop it for really small amouts of cash so go and play now ! ;)
re switching to another system depends how much you have already invested in to sony kit:) on the other hand sony makes good dSLRs as well so maybe just switch body in future
 
Film bodies dont go for much, check ebay a lot go for between .99p-£25.
Sigma lens i cant answer but i know a lot wont work on DSLR with out being re-chipped, you would need to check out. If your lens are 70-210mm 4-5.6 UC-II and 28-70mm 2.8-4 UC they wont work correctly on DSLRs
Your 50mm mk1 can go as high as £150 again check out ebay completed listings for a guide price.
