I didn't think the 10d had live view did it? Eos utility should let you shoot tethered though, I seem to remember that you can only download updates for eos utility (I may well be wrong) but if I remember rightly there was a fix, don't know why it's only updates as the programs free anyway.

Waynes correct

Liveveiw is a function of the camera not the software. You would need your origional disks for the camera then apply all the updates. It would allow you to shoot tethered but not liveveiw.

I actually had this problem an hour ago as i couldnt find my original software cd`s, found a simple fix though, add the below to the registry and the update will install the full software.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\EOS Utility

Or if your not confident with the registry open notepad and copy and paste the below into it:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Canon\EOS Utility]

Then save it as canon.reg making sure in the save dialog you change "Save as type" to all files.

All you gotta do is double click the resulting file and it`ll add the entry to the registry.

I thought there was a fix, although why on earth Canon don't just supply the full software is puzzling as it's free anyway.

I know it seems a crazy way of going about it, thankfully it didnt take too much googleing to find that way round it.
