Looking to get a 70-200mm f/2.8.

The canon lenses appear out of my budget.

What other are there to choice from?
 
Looking to spend £400 in the 2nd market.
 
The Canon 70 - 200 F/4 non IS should be obtainable within your budget 2nd hand.
 
I have the sigma version
the equivalent is the OS f2.8
non-macro etc
it's about the same size and is pretty good
won't be as good but for the price I'm not complaining too much
tamron lenses can be razor sharp or a bit shonky imho, a good one is excellent

alternate that I loved, was the sigma 50-150 f2.8
cheap as chips now, if you can find one., but no OS.
but light and a lovely lens on a cropped sensor

They only make one model now, the 70-200 OS.

I have the 70-200 HSM mk2, non OS. Stunning lens but iirc Sigma now only make the OS version (which is even better!)
