My new camera has arrived just waiting for the battery to charge.

Looking to use it as an everyday walkaround / 2nd camera

ow to read the manual although the canon buttons seem much the same.

I have the Canon s90 which has the same sensor and Digic IIII software and all i can say is WOW! Impressive!

There's not much DOF with the lens but quality is rather good.

another vote for the S90, just got one last week from Kerso to replace my bulky G7, very happy with it, great pocket sized alternative to a G series.

Enjoy the G11.I bought one as a carry everywhere camera and find I use it all the time.I take a lot of rubbish with it but it's great for when you don't want to carry everything else around.
I have a 4 year old and it's great when I'm with him at playgrounds and school events etc.Certainly don't get the same strange looks that you get when you pull out the dslr and a 70-200 lens.
