Canon Glass Shipping Again!

Well there seems to have been a real drought of Decent Canon Glass and prices just going up and up. (Understandable really)

Anyway, picked up a much needed replacement Canon 24-70 2.8 L from Jessops today, and very happy ot see a UZ06 Date code.

So Fresh you can still smell the baking tin

Yep, the 24-70 I received a couple of weeks ago was also a UZ06 date code. Makes sense that such a popular lens would be one of those they concentrated on re-stocking.

Cool. I've been waiting for a lens on order for 4 months now. Still gonna try to not get my hopes up though
