Forgive me if this is an obvious question but im looking for a list showing which lenses were released in which year somewhere on the net and cant seem to find one? Anyone assist?
 
Thanks Ian. I was more looking for a list showing which lenses were released in which year. I'm not trying to date a lens, its more just out of interest.
 
Thanks chaps but you still have to click on each lens to see the year? No full list anywhere? Sorry to be awkward!
 
well the code on mine is OO51 other num not added
so it made in O = Oita, Japan had the lens since I bought a 40d so that make it a 2000 model ?
