Canon or Tokina ~ which one to hire?

Hi All

I am looking at hiring the Canon 10-22 or the Tokina 11-16 for use on the 7D.

The f2.8 on the Tokina appeals because of the possible use indoors with only ambient light................but not so good if you have to stop it down to maintain edge to edge sharpness.

Apart from indoors it will be cityscape usage mostly in narrow possibly shadowy streets.

So TIA for any user insight/experiences of both these lens :)

I'm looking at both for an amazon trip in the summer but unsure which way to go.

Hi

I did hire the Canon one and found it great for my trip to Venice..............I never took it off my 7D ~ the Venice images here http://500px.com/engramphotography were all taken using it.

I've gone for a Sigma AF 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG HSM OS for the long end, but i wanted something wide for using around Machu Picchu, inside buildings and in towns.
