Canon picture style editor

Does anyone know how to use this software? I shoot with a Canon 1D mark III and want to customise my picture styles for when I shoot Football, Rugby and Cricket.

I know you need to load an image into the software and work from there but does this need to be a RAW or JPEG. Also once the style is customised how do you get it onto the camera?
