Canon repair prices?

Most reports of their services are good, not had the misfortune to have to use them myself though.

Hope you can get it sorted its a cracking lens :D.

What is the fault, do you know ?
 
If the lens has been damaged accidentally fixed price repairs may not apply.

Either way they seem to have really struggled to calibrate lenses properly for me... Will use fixation next time

Hopefully I will make more sense of it when the lens arrives.

From the description:

I bought this lens used during the summer for 685 pounds. I just sold it along with all my other Canon gear as ive switched to Pentax but the person who bought this informed me that it has a faulty M/AF focus clutch problem which occurs in the vertical position. Ive used it for landscape with no probs but obviously it's going to have its limits for use until fixed. i didnt notice myself (not an experienced photographer) and ive no idea how much this would cost to repair but need to sell it on ASAP to fund lens purchases for new Pentax k5.

Not sure on that one. Hopefully it won't be an expensive repair.

Even better if there isn't a fault and the person returned it as 'faulty' as he'd decided it wasn't for him.

Either way, be good to keep thread updated
