Can anyone give an indication of the sort of cost inccured for a Canon service?

I will be putting in a 30D and 1Ds Mk2?
 
When i had a 1ds done by fixation a full strip down clean and service was around £ 130 ish about 3 years ago if that helps
 
My friend said she paid £30 for her 30D at Canon and £45 somewhere local...
 
Now i just need to find the adress of the local service place, im sure there is one in Borehamwood, but i cant find the address anywhere!!

Can they service leses, i.e. clean INSIDE the lens? I have a trusty but well-worn 17-40mm butthere are dust particles inside that show up, especially when shooting blue skies. Plus, I think moisture has watermarked the galss to some extent.

laws of physics Jim:
any muck, dust whatever inside the lens or on the mirror cannot appear on the sensor
all it does is reduce clarity

if you can see muck in your pictures it must be on the sensor
