I'm thinking of getting one of the above-mentioned flash guns when I get up-and-running but was wondering if the radio triggering (using off-camera) works on all Canon DSLR camera's. The main one I'm looking at is the Canon 600d.

Also, do you need to buy anything additional to use it off camera (i.e. a RT device) or is it all built in?

Sorry if this has been asked before and feel free to post any links. :)

To use the 600EX-RT off camera via radio you'll need an ST-E3-RT or another radio equipped flash (ie, a second 600EX-RT)

Hi

Can the new 600EX-RT, be use as Master with 580/430 EX Speedlites used as slaves.

you can also use with pocket wizards / radio poppers and mix and match flashes across the canon range

In that case, I'd probably go for 2 600EX-RT's then I'd also have one as a back-up.
