Canon SX700 HS Screen Damage

Two weeks ago I bought a Canon SX700 HS compact zoom, which I have been carrying in a jacket pocket while visiting many zoos.

Anyway it appears that it has taken a blow to the rear screen as when switched on the screen has a large green and black splodge and lots of vertical black lines on it, which makes seeing the subject quite difficult.

However it does not affect the actual images so I'm assuming only screen damage. And therefore my question is what is the best way to replace the rear screen?
 
Hi had problems,with an Fuji XE-2 screen,it was under g/tee so sent it back to Fuji thought the dealer I brought it from fixed FOC, so worth sending it back as with me it might be a fault with the screen :)
 
Thanks Simon. I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with the screen and it did crack against a couple of barriers when in my jacket pocket whilst visiting some zoos.

I was hoping that a replacement screen could be bought and the existing one removed and replaced.
