Now - this won't be news to you lot, because you're all prolly sensible and intelligenter than me, BUT
My story unfolds thus:
My girlfriend (who works in design) and I only had one computer between us, and as such there was a real "Two kids, one toy" situation.
Until now - I've just got a laptop - ace.
Loaded up CS2 onto it.
THEN - in a stroke of GENIUS on my part - loaded up the software that came with my camera (EOS 450) at Christmas.
In all honestly it's so good its making me feel happy in my inappropriate place.
It's a whole new world! Editing raw files? Get in! Transfer straight to Photoshop? Don't mind if I do!
We are now in the happy position of being able to wave goodbye to any conversation or personal interaction between us; in favour of sitting at our respective machines, emailing each other if we need anything.
I know it's hardly news, but hey - what's the point of internets if its not to share intimate details of your personal life with complete strangers on a messageboard?
My Flickr account is about to undergo something of a barrage of uploading.
