Indeed it is. There are some nice new features in the Nikon kit which no doubt Canon will emulate at some point, just as it's taken until now for Nikon to emulate the 7D2's 10fps and offer radio triggering on their flashes. TBH if I were a Nikon user the flash announcement would be what I'd be most excited about - it took Canon too long to produce that, let alone Nikon.
