Help! Can't access classifieds

Hi, @lindsay a very early member here from 2007 !
I am a lot older now and trying to get back into photography but it aint easy at my age and having dusted off all my gear ( 4 cameras and 11 lens !! ) I am having to familiarise myself with them all over again:rolleyes:.
Once I get back into it all I will need to whittle all the gear down....I am under great pressure from my better half to do so !.
Could I please have full access to the forums to help me decide in what direction I am going. :)

You'll need to wait 30 minutes for the change to happen, but please make use of the rest of the site, classifieds is a perk not the reason for using TP I hope
 
Seem to have lost classified access on my desktop but working on my mobile, is this a glitch? :cool:
 
That's a new one on me. If you've used the same login, then it may be something to do with different ip addresses perhaps, though unlikely, so I think more likely you need to logout and log in again on the desktop.

Although you've been a member for some time, you've never reached the threshold of meaningful posts on the site in order to qualify for Classifieds access. It'll come automatically once you've participated a bit more in discussions
 
Hi Lindsay, Has the classifieds access been taken again? Cant seem to find them after you last granted re-access, Thank you
 
Your previous last post was in February, then this today - if you don't post regularly, Classies is removed. I'm afraid the privilege only remains if you are active on TP, so I suggest making a few posts and try again please.
 
I have been away working out the country :-) please can I have access to back to classifieds.

You need to start making some posts on the site again Mark then access will follow. You've not been here for 15 months hence it was withdrawn.
 
Hi, Is making some new posts the only way to get reinstated? I need to sell my not being used camera gear to fuel my astrophotography habit and it feels a bit superficial to start commenting on things to prove I'm me.
 
@turnpike The classifieds on TP are a membership privilege for active members. We are not a trading site. If all you want to do on TP is sell kit, then you're not really earning the privilege.

I just have different hobbies and may have come back. In fact I didn't know there was an astro section until I logged in but no problem, I'll go elsewhere.

Feel free to go elsewhere if all you want is to sell kit. If you want to discuss astrophotography, please do that in the section you've just discovered. No charge.
